Salmon hopes to keep Angels' career going (AP)

Los Angeles Angels fans have saved some of their loudest cheers this spring for Tim Salmon, rewarding him for a long, distinguished career spent entirely in Anaheim. Salmon, 37 and coming off a year's layoff following knee and shoulder surgery, hopes to keep it going. Fighting for a spot on the roster, Salmon has been hitting well this spring.
